Long story short:
You don't have to buy a ticket at the airport.
There isn't much information about this, so I'll write this first before posting about my trip to Nice.
After arriving at the airport, I was trying to buy a ticket to take the tram to the city center, but when I looked at the ticket vending machines at the airport, I realized that they only sell 1-day passes, 3-day passes, and 7-day passes.
But I needed a 10-trip ticket...😟😟
If you want to buy a 1-trip or 10-trip ticket,
instead of buying a ticket at the airport, just hop on the tram.
Normally you would take tram number 2 to get to the city center, you didn’t buy the ticket? Don’t worry, just hop on the tram without a ticket.
This info(?) found in Terminal 1, it says..
⭐️⭐️⭐️Terminal 2 - Terminal 1 - Grand Arénas ⭐️⭐️⭐️
These three stops are free connections.
Just take the tram from the airport and get off at Grand Arénas, which is 2 stops later, and buy a ticket.
*This is in the case of trams. If you take a bus from the airport, you will have to purchase it from the bus driver.(Not sure)*
Actually we landed on Terminal 2, and there were a lot of people who were confused like us because there was no proper information. Everyone waited in line in front of the ticket vending machine, but they couldn’t find the ticket they wanted.
I hope this posting helps people who traveling Nice.
